Training Insights from the Sub-Zero Refrigerator’s Morgan Holt

At AAA Appliance, we’re dedicated to delivering top-notch service to ensure your appliances run smoothly year-round. Recently, our team had the privilege of attending a virtual training session led by the Sub-Zero trainer, Morgan Holt. Hosted by the esteemed United Appliance Servicers Association, this session was a game-changer for us, equipping us with invaluable insights into the intricate workings of Sub-Zero appliances.

Understanding Sub-Zero Refrigerators

Sub-Zero refrigerators are, no doubt, one of the best in the industry.  During our training with Morgan Holt, our techs were able to get into the diagnostics and theory of operations behind these beautifully crafted appliances. Our team not only gained insights into common issues but also learned about the regular maintenance recommended by Sub-Zero. Armed with this comprehensive knowledge, our technicians are better equipped to diagnose issues swiftly and accurately, ensuring that you can get back to more important things.

Model and Serial Numbers

The image below showcases an example of the model and serial tag found on a Sub-Zero refrigerator. Common places to find this tag include inside the refrigerator compartment, typically on the upper right or left side, or on the interior wall near the top. Keeping this information handy is crucial for efficient service or repair, ensuring a swift resolution to any issues that may arise. For instance, when replacing your water filter, having this information readily available ensures you get the correct replacement, streamlining the process and getting your appliance back up and running in no time.

Decoding the Service Light

Is your Sub-Zero refrigerator trying to tell you something? Pay attention to the service light which alerts you for when your appliance needs attention. Located discreetly on the control panel, this indicator is your way to monitor and maintain optimal performance. Don’t ignore it! The wrench icon, as seen in the image below, indicates that service is needed. This is your cue to reach out to AAA Appliance promptly. Our team will swiftly address any issues, ensuring your refrigerator is back to normal ASAP.
