When you call AAA Appliance Service Center for help, one of the first items we ask for is the serial number of your appliance.
Since most people don’t know where to find this information, we have highlighted some of the most common places to locate the serial number on your various appliances.
Refrigerator
Open the door and look along the outline of the opening. If it’s not there, open the door to the freezer and look along that edge. In some cases, you may need to remove the vegetable drawer on the bottom and search the back wall of the fridge.
Oven
The most common spot is on the oven frame when you open the door. If you have a double oven, you may need to open the bottom door to find the info. Other places you may find it include the side of the burner box and on the frame of the oven when you open the bottom drawer.
Dishwasher
Open the dishwasher door and look at the outer edge of the unit. If it’s not there, look on the inside of the door.
Microwave
When you open the door, look at the edge of the unit or the interior of the door. If it’s not there, look at the side of the control panel or on the back of the microwave.
Freezer
The serial number for most freezers can be found on the inside of the unit, near the door. You may also see it on the interior of the door.
Washer
Look on the back of the control panel or the inside of the door when you open the unit.
Dryer
The three main spots to look include the upper back portion of the dryer, the side of the unit and the interior of the door.
